Court of Appeals Vindicates Christian Attorney!



A statement by Pastor Ralph Ovadal

On October 10, 2003, Wisconsin Christians United held an "International Conference on Homo-Fascism" featuring speakers from America and other countries. The theme of the conference was threats to Christian liberty and free speech by the homosexual movement. I was the founder and director of WCU, the work of which has since been absorbed into the public ministry of the church I pastor, Pilgrims Covenant Church.



Subsequent to our WCU conference, the homosexual organization Action Wisconsin issued a press release in which the outrageous, false claim was made that one of the WCU speakers, a pastor, advocated the murder of homosexuals. When Action Wisconsin officials refused to retract their claim, Attorney Jim Donohoo filed a defamation lawsuit against them on behalf of the pastor. On June 28, 2005, Judge Patricia McMahon handed down a summary judgment dismissing the action. Consequently, Action Wisconsin attorneys filed a motion with McMahon seeking costs and actual attorney's fees on the basis that the suit prosecuted by Donohoo was frivolous. The court then awarded Action Wisconsin costs in the amount of $2,220.09 and attorney's fees in the amount of $85,232.50. Further, Judge McMahon took the opportunity to humiliate Attorney Donohoo in her decision while Action Wisconsin pricey Attorney Lester A. Pines went out of his way to ridicule Donohoo's professional skills.



However, today, May 30, the State of Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District 1, reversed Judge McMahon's judgment and order, concluding, "Based on our analysis, we do conclude that Donohoo had a reasonable basis to commence and continue the action. Accordingly, we reverse the trial court's order granting Action Wisconsin's motion seeking attorney's fees on the grounds that the case was frivolous. The underlying action was not frivolous and therefore the trial court erred in so ruling."



I congratulate Attorney Jim Donohoo, a Christian brother and friend, on his hard-fought victory, won by the grace of God. Now Action Wisconsin can pay their own attorney's fees; and perhaps they, and other opponents of Christian liberty, will think twice before so viciously smearing their opponents. This court decision represents a repudiation of the heavy-handed intimidation tactics of Action Wisconsin and their high-power law firm led by Attorney Lester A. Pines.



I rejoice that the professional skills and integrity of Jim Donohoo have been vindicated. Our whole church is deeply grateful to the Lord for this victory. "Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield" (Psalm 33:20).

I believe Jerry Falwell compromised by supporting some moderate/liberal ministers, allowing liberal politicians to speak at Liberty University, and allowing sodomite Mel White to ghostwrite his books. Still, I prefer to remember him at his best, standing up for the Lord against all sorts of ungodliness in venues like the Phil Donahue Show.



That said, homos are showing 10,000 times more HATE for Falwell than he ever showed for them. At one speech he gave at a liberal university, dozens of radical queers picketed the entrance shouting, "Hitler rose, Hitler fell, Fascist Falwell, go to Hell!"

"I really don't feel sorry for her. She paid a very steep price for being an arrogant religious fascist. Too bad for her."



"Quite frankly, if anyone in this case was being 'persecuted' it was Mr. Gutierrez. ... Maybe this will give pause to other people who similarly try to 'help' homosexuals."



"Maybe [Stachowicz's murder] will strike fear in the hearts of a few fundamentalists. ... Where do I send a check for his (Gutierrez's) defense fund?"

A MELBOURNE pub catering for gay men has won the right to refuse entry to heterosexuals in a landmark ruling at the state planning tribunal.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal last week granted the pub an exemption to the Equal Opportunity Act, effectively prohibiting entry to non-homosexuals.

Outrageous Homosexual Bill Passes California Senate
SB 777 a serious assault on religious freedom in schools

Sacramento, May 24, 2007: The California State Senate voted today (23-13) to pass SB 777 (Kuehl), legislation that will ban textbooks and teachers from any instruction that "reflects or promotes bias against" homosexuality, transgenders, bisexuals or those with perceived gender issues. SB 777 is similar to last session's highly controversial SB 1437, which passed the legislature but was vetoed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"The shocking hate mail we received shows that those behind this legislation do not promote true tolerance," stated Karen England, Executive Director of Capitol Resource Institute. "Only politically correct speech will be tolerated. Those with religious or traditional moral beliefs will not be allowed to express their opinions in public schools."

TG: England is exactly right. Homosexuals have NO tolerance for anyone else or any criticism. They want to silence all opposition. They are anti-freedom and anti-American in addition to being anti-Christian.

Cannes - A semi-documentary about a group of US men who had sex with horses has taken the title as the most shocking movie at the Cannes film festival.

But while Zoo has drawn big, curious crowds at its screenings, the real unsettling quality about the movie is its approach: it depicts the men in a sympathetic light, one that tries to push the viewers to understanding their sexual perversion.

In July 2005, a 45-year-old man died of internal bleeding after being anally penetrated by an Arabian stallion during a bestiality weekend in the US state of Washington.


He said the absence of judgement was a deliberate choice, one reinforced after he watched some of the actual videos the men had taken of their horse sessions - ... The men heard in the film are remarkably honest about their motivations. One of them argues "mammal to mammal" love should not be seen as wrong.

"A Canadian Christian civil marriage commissioner in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Orville Nichols, could face up to $5000 in fines for having referred a homosexual couple to a different commissioner. Human Rights Commission lawyer Janice Gingell asked the tribunal to find that Nichols contravened the code and order him to pay $5,000 in compensation to the complainant. The 70 year-old Mr. Nichols used a clearly religious-based conscience argument for his refusal, saying his faith guides his daily life, that he prays and reads the Bible every day. He told the Saskatchewan Human Rights Tribunal that his faith 'takes first place' in his life. He said, 'I couldn't sleep or live with myself if I were to perform same-sex marriages.' The other commissioner to whom the two men were referred performed the ceremony on the same date they requested of Mr. Nichols. ... In Canadian Human Rights Tribunal cases, the party defending against a complaint is under a large disadvantage. While the government pays the costs of the complainant, the defendant must cover his own expenses and if the ruling goes against him, is normally charged with all the costs. Further costs are incurred if he should try to bring the matter to a legal court. The Tribunal, which is not under standard rules of evidence or judicial procedures, has yet to render a decision, though thus far, in most decisions in cases of this kind, the outcome has favoured the homosexual activists over religious conscientious objectors."

You see, they do not just want the right to practice their perversion in private. They do not just want the right to marry. They want to FORCE those who don't approve of their behavior to condone it. They were not satisfied with being referred to another commissioner, they insisted on IMPOSING their will on this one.

When the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a Texas prohibition on homosexual sodomy, leaders warned the decision would be used in support of incest, adultery and polygamy. A media leader of no less influence than Time magazine now admits that he was right.

"If the Supreme Court says you have the right to consensual sex within your home," Sen. Rick Santorum said at the time, "then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery. You have the right to anything."

Exactly. The lavendar lobby is fearful of the TRUTH so they want all opposition to their perversion to be totally silenced. That is what's behind the push for "hate crimes", making crimes against sodomites carry tougher sentences than crimes against straights and making those opposed to sodomy guilty of thought crimes. But they have no trouble spewing out HATE themselves. They hate God, the Bible, Christians, the Constitution, America, and righteousness.
