HOMOSEXUALS STRENGTHEN THE ECONOMY?

HOMOSEXUALS STRENGTHEN THE ECONOMY? THAT'S A FANTASY

by Al Doyle

Truth, facts and simple common sense are no impediment to the pro-sodomy lobby. Making claims - no matter how bizarre or inaccurate - to propose that those who engage in and promote sexual perversion are beneficial to America is a common tactic.

Groups such as Fair Wisconsin go so far as to proclaim that supposedly "gay friendly" states are bastions of economic development and progress. Let's look at how life goes for two mid-level wage earners and see how the homosexual theory works out.

Despite their identical earnings of $40,000 a year, our subjects are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Bob Berean is the kind of guy the homos hate. Bob is a fundamental Baptist, married with three children. Zach Stevens makes no secret of his sexual preference or his affiliation to various homosexual activist groups.

How about some basic, old-fashioned math here? Assuming that both Bob and Zach do their best to avoid debt, neither person is going to spend more than their base salary minus taxes and other deductions. So how is the queer spending superior to the married guy's spending? Is there some bizarre belief (maybe it springs from socialist economist and homosexual John Maynard Keynes) that $1 spent by a sodomite is superior to $1 spent by a heterosexual?

As you might guess, Bob is a real Bible-thumping party animal. Within minutes of cashing his paycheck, Bob is blowing the dough on the mortgage, groceries, clothing, shoes for the kids, gas and a pair of tires for the Chevy. Zach also has his share of normal living expenses, but they are less than what Bob needs. This is where our examples take vastly different paths.

While Bob and Zach have the same base salary, Zach's discretionary income is far higher. He's got a lot more free cash than Bob, who spends much of his earnings on basic, low-profit margin commodities like food and discounted clothing from clearance racks and Goodwill.

Bob isn't one to complain about his situation, but life at the homeschooling Berean household means frugality and few nonessentials. Zach can drop $20 or $30 for dinner, drinks or other fun without a second thought or hurting his finances. Sadly, some of Zach's extra cash is also spent at bathhouses where homosexuals engage in perverted acts with multiple anonymous and often disease-carrying partners.

This frequently leads to AIDS or other sexual transmitted diseases. Heterosexuals subsidize the staggering rate of STDs among sodomites by paying higher medical insurance rates which are calculated to reflect a pool of policy holders. The sexually perverse are lumped with responsible folks, and the healthy are penalized.

In many cases, infected homosexuals have no medical insurance, which means the cost of treatment for that depraved deathstyle is picked up by taxpayers. Would the pro-homosexual mouthpieces claim that all this money spent on combating AIDS (easily preventable by avoiding sodomy) is a plus for the economy and the best use of finite resources?

As might be expected, there are other significant differences in spending, and this explains why some in the business community are among the biggest cheerleaders for homosexuality.

Bob is trying to squeeze another year out of his 1994 vintage minivan, which is pushing 160,000 miles. Zach is happy with his six-year old used car, but he's open to buying a brand-new vehicle. When the old wreck finally dies, Bob will look for something a few years newer. Does Ford (a major supporter of sodomite causes) prefer Bob prowling the classifieds for a used van or Zach checking out new cars?

Never a fashion plate, Bob manages to drag a comb through his thinning hair every day. Functional, durable and inexpensive are the words that describe his wardrobe. If Zach sees a $40 shirt he likes, he can buy it. Clothing at full retail usually carries a 100 percent or higher markup over the wholesale cost.

Physical appearance is all important in the vain, narcissic homosexual subculture. That means constant trips to boutiques, hair salons (often owned by fellow sodomites), tanning booths and large sums dropped on grooming and personal care products. These businesses operate at far higher profit margins than the firms where Bob does most of his spending. It doesn't take an Einstein to guess which side an amoral corporation or business owner will take.

Bob gives a tithe (10 percent of his earnings) to his church each month plus some more cash to support the church's foreign missionaries. What about the multiplier effect of this money?

The donations of members support the pastor, his family and others on the church payroll. A food bank and other programs for the poor helps needy non-members of the church. Men and women who are converted to Christ through the evangelistic efforts of the church often renounce and quit destructive habits such as alcoholism or drug use.

Ruined lives become productive ones. In addition to the benefits of eternal salvation through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, these believers won't be a drain on society as their once-sinful lives would have eventually spiraled out of control. The same thing - often in larger numbers - takes place through the work of Bible-believing missionaries supported by the Bereans' church. Compare that to the long-term effects of spending at bathhouses and "gay" bars.

While the budget is tight, Bob is content with his life and family. He tries to allocate some money for his wife Ann to spend on herself. Bob also squirrels away a few dollars at a time for a special reason.

The .22 rifle that Bob received as a gift from his late father remains one of his most cherished possessions. It's more than a wall hanger, as Bob enjoys shooting at paper targets. Whenever he can put together $100 or $125, Bob looks for a similar item for his son and two daughters, which they will own once they reach legal age.

Many (even most) pro-homosexual types would shriek and gnash their teeth at the thought of Bob exercising his Second Amendment rights and encouraging his children to do the same. The same perverts who would rant about Bob taking his 11-year old son out to plink at targets want to legalize sodomizing and molesting that same young boy. Check out the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) and their allies if you don't believe me.

So where do Zach and his friends spend the kind of money that Bob uses for inexpensive rifles? There's always homosexual pornography. Unlike Bob's rifle that will last and serve its purpose for generations, the pleasures of sin last for only a season (Hebrews 11:25) and never satisfy. More graphic images of depraved acts must be bought, and others will follow.

Bob and Zach do have one common interest. They both like to spend money in the same foreign country.

A young missionary couple headed to Thailand impressed Bob and Ann to the point where they commited $25 each month to this ministry. As the Bereans expected, these missionaries were completed dedicated to seeing Thai people saved out of pagan beliefs and ruined lives. Their first church has been turned over to a local pastor, and these missionaries are planting a second church.

Hundreds of lives in Thailand have been changed for the better - and for eternity - through this ministry. Some people may scoff at $25 a month, but it adds up to $1500 in the five years that the Bereans have been faithfully contributing to this cause.

Coincidentially, that is the same sum Zach is planning to spend on a trip to Thailand to engage in sex with boys. This plauge only grows worse with each passing year, as growing numbers of homosexuals fly to Thailand to pursue their depraved lusts. Obviously, they could care less about the lives they ruin through such vile depravity.

Despite that, some brain-dead homosexual propagandist is sure to proclaim that pedophilia "helps the economy" by bringing tourist dollars to the Third World. There is one sure way to put America on the right path, and it's not by encouraging sodomy.

Proverbs 14:34 declares "Righeoutness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people." No matter how much money they spend, homosexuals drag down a nation economically and morally.
